Fiberon™ PA6-CF20
Volume Pricing Available
Fiberon™ PA6-CF20 combines high-performance PA6 nylon with 20% carbon fiber reinforcement by weight to produce exceptionally strong, rigid, and thermally resistant parts. The high loading of carbon fiber drastically improves structural rigidity and reduces warping, making PA6-CF20 an outstanding choice for high-stress engineering components operating under harsh conditions. With a tensile strength of 115 MPa and bending strength of 170 MPa in the XY direction, PA6-CF20 delivers the structural integrity required to replace traditional metal parts in lightweight assemblies. Its 7800 MPa bending modulus provides extreme stiffness, while maintaining high heat deflection temperatures up to 215°C under load.

Recommended Print Settings
Nozzle: 280–300°C
Build Plate: 25–50°C
Print Speed: Up to 350 mm/s
Cooling Fan: OFF
Retraction Distance: 1–3mm
Retraction Speed: 20–40 mm/s
Drying: 100°C for 8–12 hours prior to printing
Nozzle: Hardened steel or ruby, 0.4mm or larger
Enclosure: Recommended for large parts to prevent ambient drafts Because carbon fiber reinforcement is highly abrasive, a wear-resistant hardened nozzle is required. PA6-CF20 is extremely hygroscopic and must be printed directly from a dry box/filament dryer to ensure optimal layer adhesion and surface finish.
