Polymaker’s Fiberon™ PETG-rCF08 delivers an accessible entry point into carbon fiber 3D printing by infusing an easy-to-print PETG polymer base with 8% post-industrial recycled carbon fibers by weight. This sustainable formulation elevates the mechanical stiffness and thermal distortion threshold of standard PETG without sacrificing its user-friendly printing characteristics, excellent chemical resistance, and high impact ductility. Featuring an XY tensile strength of 38.6 MPa and flexural strength of 60.1 MPa, this material significantly mitigates the stringing and warping traditionally associated with PETG. The addition of milled carbon fibers drastically reduces thermal shrinkage, ensuring sharp detail retention, superb z-axis lamination, and a smooth, low-gloss surface finish that conceals layer boundaries effortlessly.
Key Benefits
Reinforced with 8% recycled carbon fiber for improved stiffness and dimensional stability

Recommended Print Settings
Nozzle: 240–270°C
Build Plate: 70–80°C
Print Speed: 30–300 mm/s
Cooling Fan: 20–50% (lower for max strength, higher for fine overhang detail)
