TOUGH 1000 RESIN
Overview
Tough 1000 Resin is a ductile, impact-resistant 3D printing material with strength, stiffness, and toughness comparable to high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Engineered for high ductility and fatigue resistance, it produces resilient parts that withstand significant impact without breaking. Its low-friction surface and dark grey finish make it ideal for dynamic wear components, compliant mechanisms, and durable end-use parts.

Why Choose Tough 1000 Resin
Tough 1000 Resin is engineered to deliver exceptional ductility, impact resistance, and long-term durability for demanding end-use applications. Featuring an elongation at break of 180% and a work of fracture of 3200 J/m², printed parts flex and absorb high mechanical energy without shattering. Outstanding fatigue, creep, and environmental resistance ensure component integrity under continuous wear and cyclic stress. Its low-friction surface facilitates smooth relative motion, reducing surface wear in dynamic assemblies. Recommended applications include living hinges, compliant mechanisms, low-friction gears, protective housings, and durable prototypes.
Performance vs. Durable Resin
Tough 1000 Resin delivers 5x higher fracture toughness at 3200 J/m² and 2x higher elongation at break at 180% compared to Durable Resin. It also offers significantly improved temperature, creep, and aging resistance for enhanced part stability and service life.
