Designed for reliable FDM/FFF printing, Panchroma™ Gradient Translucent PLA prints smoothly using typical PLA settings without requiring specialized hardware or adjustments. Its fine-tuned formulation provides vibrant color effects while maintaining dependable extrusion and print quality.

The translucent nature of the material makes it particularly effective for designs that interact with light. Lampshades, decorative pieces, artistic models, and creative designs can showcase the material's transparency and changing colors.

With a gradient cycle of approximately 160 g, the filament provides predictable color transitions throughout the spool. Larger models can display multiple colors within a single print, while smaller models can capture portions of the gradient.

Additional Information

Panchroma™ Gradient Translucent PLA is designed to print well on stock FDM/FFF 3D printers without specialized hardware or modifications. Polymaker recommends printing more slowly on older-style printers to achieve the best results.

The translucent formulation allows light and color to interact within the finished print, making it particularly effective for designs where illumination or transparency is part of the visual effect.

Panchroma™ Gradient Translucent PLA is AMS compatible, with current Panchroma™ spools featuring hardened edges designed to roll properly in AMS systems.

The material can be mixed with other Panchroma™ effect materials for multi-material and HueForge projects, except materials designated by Polymaker as experimental.
