Panchroma™ Metallic PLA 1.75mm 3D Printer Filament

Panchroma™ Metallic PLA is a specialty PLA filament designed to give 3D printed parts a striking metallic appearance. Its fine glitter powder creates a shimmering effect that mimics the look of polished metal while maintaining the familiar printability of PLA.

The metallic effect adds depth and visual interest to finished prints without requiring painting or extensive post-processing. The material is particularly well suited for display models, artistic pieces, props, decorative parts, and other projects where appearance is a priority.

Panchroma™ Metallic PLA is designed to print reliably on most standard FDM/FFF 3D printers using typical PLA settings. It does not require an enclosure or specialized hardware, making it an easy way to add a metallic finish to everyday 3D printing projects.

Recommended Print Settings

• Nozzle Temperature: 190–230°C
• Bed Temperature: 25–60°C
• Print Speed: Up to 200 mm/s
• Cooling Fan: ON
• Direct Drive Retraction: 1mm at 20mm/s
• Indirect Drive Retraction: 3mm at 40mm/s
• Drying: 55°C for 6 hours if the material has absorbed moisture
• Enclosure: Not required
• Nozzle: 0.4mm or larger
• Use standard PLA settings and full cooling for the best surface quality
• Reduce printing speed if the metallic shine or sparkle becomes muted
• Do not use a nozzle smaller than 0.4mm for this particle-filled material
• Use glue when needed on PC or textured PEI build surfaces
• Allow the build plate to cool before removing prints
