Introducing the Essentials Pack, your gateway to kickstarting your 3D printing journey with the BCN3D Epsilon 3D printer. This comprehensive package equips you with a curated selection of filaments in varying materials, including PLA, ABS, and BVOH. This assortment empowers you to experiment and discover the perfect filament for your specific applications.
In addition, the Essentials Pack includes a Hotend with a 0.6mm nozzle size, enabling you to produce more resilient parts or expedite your printing process. With the Essentials Pack, you gain the confidence to explore the boundless possibilities of 3D printing and elevate your skill set.
What's Included:
ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene): A widely-used engineering material known for its blend of rigidity and impact resistance, making it ideal for technical applications and moving parts.
PLA (Polylactic Acid): An eco-friendly, biodegradable polymer sourced from organic materials. It's renowned for its ease of use and versatility in a wide range of 3D printing applications, particularly those not demanding high mechanical or thermal performance.
BVOH (Butenediol vinyl alcohol copolymer): A water-soluble thermoplastic tailored for FFF manufacturing. It enhances compatibility with most BCN3D filaments and serves as a soluble support material that can be effortlessly dissolved in ordinary water.
Additionally, the pack includes 2 Magigoo Original adhesives to ensure secure adhesion of printed parts to the glass printing surface, along with 2 Hotends featuring a 0.6mm nozzle size. While the BCN3D Epsilon typically includes 0.4mm hotends, these 0.6mm hotends allow you to experiment with larger nozzle sizes. Smaller nozzles are well-suited for intricate models, whereas larger nozzles facilitate the production of sturdier components or faster prints.
The choice of hotend size directly impacts not only printing speed and detail but also the strength of your 3D-printed parts. Therefore, selecting the appropriate hotend size for each application is pivotal in producing high-quality components efficiently.
